Recovery is achievable
Mental illness does not need to define your life.
At Laurel Hill Center, we help people who are struggling with a variety of disorders – including bipolar, schizophrenia, severe depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.
We work with you to manage your condition as you move toward a healthy, productive and fulfilling life.
Recovery is different for each person.
Each of our clients comes to us with a different mix of needs and life experiences.
Your path toward recovery can include getting a diagnosis, working with a counselor and/or improving your physical health and wellness. It also can mean building relationships, rediscovering your creativity and reducing some of life’s stresses by finding stable housing, securing steady employment or returning to school.
Outcomes improve when people are directly involved in defining their own goals and designing their own treatment plans, reported the National Alliance on Mental Illness. We know this to be true, so we will guide you on a self-directed path where you will move at the pace that feels right to you.
Laurel Hill Center services are evidence-based.
By combining evidence-based practices and client direction, we help each person improve overall quality of life.
Using current, proven research ensures that you will receive mental health services that are most effective.
We don’t just treat symptoms, but instead teach you essential coping skills and use your own abilities and strengths to create positive and long-lasting change in your life. This includes in such programs as Supported Employment, Assertive Community Treatment and InShape.
