Employment Services offers comprehensive work assessments in actual work environments to evaluate an individual's ability to perform competitive work in an actual work environment. Situational work assessments are requested by the State Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Administration or local school districts. Work assessments usually include the following areas:
- Ability to work competitively
- Physical capacity
- Learning style
- Work habits
- Interpersonal skills
- Work strengths and weaknesses
- Identification of jobs/work environments that match the person's skills and abilities
