To be eligible to live in either Laurel Court or Laurel Grove apartments, applicants must meet certain criteria including:
- 18 years of age or older
- Not in need of 24-hour supervision
- Within income limits established by HUD (very low income)
- A mental health professional will need to determine that the applicant:
- Has a severe mental illness in accordance with the State Addictions and Mental Health Division definition
- Does not have a primary alcohol or drug abuse problem, or has been in remission for two years
- Has a minimal level of skills and willingness to establish independent living goals
Applicants will be placed on a waiting list until apartments become available. All applications MUST BE SIGNED by the prospective tenant.
As apartments become available, preference will be given to applicants according to the Tenant Selection Plan.
