Support in Crisis

crisis careWhen a woman in her early 50s considers her life today, she sees the successes she has reached by working with Laurel Hill Center.

A survivor of a suicide attempt, she now has a job and an apartment, manages her bipolar disorder with the help of Laurel Hill programs and has been clean and sober for seven years.

Laurel Hill Center is equipped to help you through all phases of your mental health journey, including periods of crisis. Our after-hours crisis line and peer support services programs provide essential, individualized support during evenings, weekends and holidays, when many other services are not available.

When working with you during more stable times, staff will help you identify the crisis strategies that work best for you. Having this information can help our after-hours crisis support staff guide you through any especially challenging times. When overnight support is needed, our after-hours peer support services program can connect you to a trained peer at the Laurel Hill respite apartments. We can help you work to avoid hospitalization.

“You need to ask or people can’t help you,” our client said.
